The displayed help sections are listed using the data hierarchy of Katmandoo. Not all sections are required for simple databases but it is important to add these required keys before importing trial data. Katmandoo enforces this hierarchy to ensure data is validated on entry to reduce duplication of data keys.
Throughout the help documentation, sample files are provided to build a Katmandoo example database. These files are built for demonstration purposes and do not represent actual data.
The generic nature of Katmandoo allows customisation of fields within the database. Existing fields have been added with an intended purpose for plant science data, though they can be changed to meet the needs of other data types.
