Operation types are the category linked to measurements, treatments or notes encompassing the whole trial. Common examples might be Diary Entry for storing notes about the trial on specific days, Chemical Application for fungicides and pesticides applied to the trial or Measurements for daily Rainfall or Temperature readings.
An initial Katmandoo installation only includes one Operation Type, called Unknown Operation Type.
